Due to the beneficial combination of Austenitic and Ferritic properties, 2205 Duplex Stainless Steels are particularly suited for many industries. High Chromium and nitrogen, and often molybdenum, offer good resistance to stress corrosion cracking. Flue gas Desulfurization, Desalination, and Biofuels are some of the industries which use Duplex Stainless Steel. Stainless Plate Products serves a broad range of customers and has proven track record in waste water, chemical, food processing, environmental, energy and nuclear applications. We have established and maintain rigorous procedures to track every pound of material entered into our inventory back to its original mill certifications. Every parent plate and every remnant from the time it is received until the time its small remnants are ultimately recycled are completely traceable. Certificates of Compliance, special cerifications and third party testing are also available upon request.

Along with our plasma and saw cutting operations we also offer machine and waterjet cutting. When deciding between machine cut or waterjet cut for your stainless needs, it is important to consider a few factors.

Machine cut is the best for rings,discs,flanges and tubesheets for near finished or completely finished to your exact dimentions. From 3-1/2” diameter through 120” diameter. Save time and finished machining costs by using our one source finish machined products.

Waterjet cutting is ideal for more intricate detail items,from 3/16” up to 6” thick, that would otherwise require extensive milling and machining.

Lead times for your plasma cut stainless items can be critical. Stainless Plate Products is ready to help with five plasma tables cutting up to 6” thick, an extensive inventory including 300 series austenitic, 400 series martensitic, as well as duplex grades. We staff multiple shifts to process your order in as little as three days, and expedited delivery is also available.
